How We Work

What happens from the first phone call to the last nail, what each stage is for, and roughly how long it takes.

A clear path forward

From your first call to the last nail

  1. 1

You call or send the form

    Same business day

We ask what happened and when. The date matters more than people expect, because everything after it is dated from there.

  2. 2

    Free inspection

    Booked when you call

Every slope walked, test squares marked and counted, soft-metal collateral recorded, flashing and penetrations checked, attic looked at where accessible.

  3. 3

    Written report

    Same or next day

Dated photographs slope by slope, findings and a recommendation, in one PDF formatted to forward to an insurer without editing.

  4. 4

    You decide what to do

    Your call, no pressure

If the damage is small enough that the report is the whole answer, we say so. Nothing is signed at the inspection and nothing is sold at it.

  5. 5

    Agreed written scope

    Before anything is booked

Line by line, in writing: what is being removed, what is going back on, what is priced per sheet, and what is excluded. No verbal extras.

  6. 6

    Build

1 to 3 days on a typical house

Tear-off to the deck, sheathing replaced and photographed sheet by sheet, ice-and-water membrane, underlayment, new flashing, shingles, ridge cap, magnet sweep.

  7. 7

    Completion pack

    After the last nail

Finished-roof photographs slope by slope and an invoice in a format an insurer will accept without a second request. Yours to keep either way.

If insurance is involved

The claim runs on its own track

If the job is an insurance claim, the claim itself runs on its own track — we document, attend the adjuster visit and handle supplements. That process is set out step by step in how a roof insurance claim works in Alberta, and what the inspection itself produces is described in the free roof inspection.

What we need from you

Three things, and that is all

  • Access. Gates unlocked, vehicles moved, the dog somewhere else, and if possible a way into the attic.
  • Your paperwork, if there is any — the insurer's estimate in full, including the line-item pages, and any earlier inspection report.
  • Dates. Any appointment already booked with your insurer, as soon as you have it, so we can be there.

Everything else is ours to handle. More about who we are and what we will not claim is on the about page.

Worried about what the last storm did?

Roof damaged? Start with the report, not the quote.

A free, photo-documented inspection is what turns a phone call to your insurer into a paid claim. It costs you nothing and takes about an hour.
