About Roof Edmonton

A roofing site built around the part of the job most roofers hand back to the homeowner: the insurance claim.

Most roofing companies are good at roofs and indifferent about claims. They will give you a quote, and then leave you to argue with your insurer about whether the quote is justified. That gap is where Edmonton homeowners lose money, and closing it is the reason this site exists.

What we actually do

We inspect free and document properly. We attend the adjuster meeting and walk the roof with them. We prepare supplements when the estimate comes back missing line items. And then we do the roof.

The roofing itself is not exotic: tear-off to the deck, replace failed sheathing, membrane at the eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment, new flashing everywhere, architectural or impact-rated shingle, proper ridge cap, and a magnet sweep before we leave. Done in that order, every time, because skipping steps is how roofs fail in year four instead of year twenty.

What we do not do

  • We do not touch your deductible. In Alberta that is insurance fraud, and it is the fastest way to void your own claim. We will offer financing instead.
  • We do not knock on doors after hailstorms.
  • We do not ask you to sign anything at the inspection. You get the report; what you do with it is your business.
  • We do not shingle over an existing roof. It hides decking damage and voids most manufacturer warranties.
  • We do not quote a decking number before tear-off. Nobody can see through a roof. You get a per-sheet rate up front and photographs of every sheet we replace.

Why local matters here specifically

Alberta sits in Canada's hail corridor, and after a major event out-of-province crews arrive within days. Some of them do competent work. None of them are reachable in three years when a flashing detail lets go. A workmanship warranty is only worth as much as the company standing behind it, which is why where a company is registered and reviewed tells you more than any line on a website — including this one.

What to require from any roofer here, us included

The test is not what a contractor says about itself. It is three documents, and all three can be checked in about ten minutes: the Alberta prepaid contracting licence (required before anyone takes a deposit, and searchable on the Service Alberta business licence registry), a current WCB Alberta clearance letter, and a certificate of liability insurance that has not expired. Ask for all three in writing before you sign anything. The full checklist, including the questions worth asking and the answers that should end the conversation, is in how to choose a roofing contractor in Edmonton.

Our own registrations. This site is operated as a roofing lead service for the Edmonton market. Licence, WCB and insurance details are published in full, with registry links, once the operating contractor is confirmed — until then nothing of the kind is claimed here. If you are reading this and nothing appears below, take that at face value.

What happens next

How we work sets out the job itself, step by step. Roof insurance claims in Edmonton and Alberta covers the paperwork side. If you already know what you need, book the free inspection.

Where we work

Roofing across Edmonton and the Capital Region

Edmonton proper and the Capital Region. Summer hail, prairie wind, ice dams and freeze–thaw cycles attack different parts of a roof, and our inspections look past the obvious impact marks to flashing, vents, underlayment and decking.

If your roof is inside the Anthony Henday, we are usually there the next morning.

Worried about what the last storm did?

Roof damaged? Start with the report, not the quote.

A free, photo-documented inspection is what turns a phone call to your insurer into a paid claim. It costs you nothing and takes about an hour.
